James Bissue on Trial at Blackburn Rovers
Published by admin on January 3, 2009
Premier League club Blackburn Rovers are set to hand a trial to 17-year-old Ghanaian youngster James Bissue.
After receiving some glowing references while playing for Ghanaian club Sekondi Eleven Wise, Rovers have invited the youngster to Ewood Park, where he will sign a contract if he continues to impress.
“We have been in talks with Blackburn over the deal for over a week now and the documents have now been sent for him to travel to England,” the technical director of Sekondi Eleven Wise is quoted as saying to Setanta.
“He will start the trial on 4 January for two weeks and I am confident he will impress Sam Allardyce. The scouts are already happy with what they have seen.
“Having been involved in training players in England, I think James is cut for the Premier League because of his pace and ability.
“James is a world class player at this age and I think Blackburn will benefit immensely from getting him.”
